Frank Stepanek received flute, clarinet and guitar lessons in elementary school, including from Jiri Jangl, Peter Jermer and then from Gabriele Mahne-Prediger at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Munich, where he obtained a state diploma. He later obtained a master's degree in music education and musicology from the LMU in Munich. Master classes with Narcisco Yepes and others. He performed with the Triton guitar trio, which also resulted in premieres and CD and radio recordings. As a soloist he played with the Munich Chamber Orchestra under Hans Stadlmair and was involved in the stage music of the Munich State Opera. He regularly plays at church events (monthly mass, baptisms) and weddings.

Martin Kuhlmann has played as a soloist and in an ensemble in numerous concerts and has developed a large repertoire that ranges from classical guitar music to flamenco in all its facets.
