I studied piano, composition and film music at the GSM School of Music in Los Angeles. My musical mentor was Dick Grove (musical director of Diana Ross, Bill Cosby, Dean Martin, the Golden Globe Show and the Grammy Award Show). One of my teachers was Allyn Ferguson, who wrote the film music for “Latigo” and “Little Lord Fauntleroy”. In sunny California, I made music with children in a German-speaking kindergarten on my days off. That was probably the trigger for me to dedicate my life to music for children after I finished my studies.
